Welcome Russ. Username looks familiar to me... Renaultsport forum perhaps? Used to have a 197, which was very reliable!

Hi and welcome.

Good luck in your search for your dream GTI.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

I've got one!!!  :happy2:

Got a great part ex deal on mine from a local Renault Used Car place, and they had an Ed30 in.  It's black and manual, neither of which I wanted (lol!), but I've fallen in love with it :)

Eibach's are ordered, and I'll be a getting a set of BBS CH's in 19" within a week or so.  I'll also be getting it remapped almost straight away at P-Torque, near me.

I pick it up 2nd May, can't wait  :jumping:

I used to be indecisive.......... but now I'm not so sure!

Just seen your post on MS mate.. Nice choice  :happy2: Shame you didn't hold put for a DSG car, but if the right deal is there, it's hard to say no..

Oh and you'll be even more in love once she's mapped...  :driver: Although I would probably look at other alternatives other than just P-Torque. Not saying P-Torque aren't good (quite the opposite in fact), but i'm not sure whether they offer supporting software for further stages of tuning and hardware (ie Stage 2, Stage 2+) if you decide to mod further later down the line..
You may be more than happy to stay at Stage 1, but if you spend much time on here, that will soon change..
