Just bought this the other day as my old bike kept going wrong. Standard except the bars that have I've replaced with my old Truvativ risers. Saying that thought the spec and bike is awesome! A shame the weather ain't.

Darren

I originally had an Orange P7, the original anniversary model from 1997 and had that for years but fell out of favour with cycling and sold it a few year back. Then bought a Boardman Pro HT on a cycle to work scheme to see if I could get back into it which I did. However it kept having issues and nearly a year of having it they have cancelled the whole scheme and refunded me the money.

Wanted one of the Treks for ages though so thought sod it. I love it.

Lovely bike Darren. That was one of the options I looked at when I bought my Trek. How do you find the beast on the climbs?

Heres my Felt Q920

Got a feeling this was taken on its first ride as its still got the standard pedals/forks/reflectors etc.

Heres a more recent photo with the SID forks and thomson stem and probably other bits ive forgotten about

Just purchased this, can't wait for it to arrive! I currently have a supreme dh v3 but don't really race anymore so wanted something a little more playful :)

This thread has emerged from the depths!

Some lovely rides on here. I see owning a gti and being a bit OCD about mtb bling goes hand in hand...

That Commie is lovely — it'll be a lovely change from the Supreme DH (which I used to race on as well).

I used to race DH about 5/6 years ago. I came out of retirement a couple of weeks ago and raced my first gravity enduro on this Nukeproof Mega. I placed third in category so I was pretty delighted with that :)

I've got a Commencal Premier S, which i purchased through the cycle to work scheme.. really just because it was the most shiney in the shop (magpie syndrome)

I've not done anything to it.. as to be honest.. cars i can work on.. i can fix oil rigs with my eyes closed but i've not a fecking scooby about push bikes.. my knowledge extends as far as my legs push the pedals and the wheels go round..

It no longer has the "girly" attachments (as a mate put it) such as the mudguard and reflectors and stuff..

but to be fair i think i've been out on it about a dozen times.. we have a couple of the "7 stanes" locally, Mabie and Ae, and have been up mabie on it, but since i got the Mk5 i've not had the bike out (i had a mk4 tdi and the bike just got chucked in there with the back seats down) but now ive got a roof rack and cycle carrier i'm going to make a conscious effort to get out more and get my fitness up

Can anyone point me in the direction of some trick parts for the commies? plus.. how easy are they to strip down, as i quite fancy a colour change to something a bit brighter and in your face, such as the neon bike a few posts above...

Cheers

Mikey
