« on: April 12, 2011, 08:48:01 pm »
Hi,

It seems that every night someone nicks my car, scrapes the alloys up abit and puts it back by the morning!! Either that or my girlfriend 'who knows nothing' about the scrapes is lying to me!!!! What do you think?

Anyway i now need to have them refurbed!! Anyone know how much and of any places close-ish to hertford in hertfordshire?????

Thanks for the replies in advance!!   :happy2:

Hello from Ware!

What colour etc is yours?

2 Recommendations for you:

1. KO in Cheshunt are meant to be good but I have heard mixed reviews...

2. Lepsons in Gillingham, Kent - pain to sort logistically but they are the best

How bad are they?

Simon

Lepssons in Kent as above there work is Amazing you will pay though ,,I think for DT alloys it comes out nearly £88 per wheel if you want them to fit and remove tyres and I would advise you let them do it as iff you take them away and hey get marked you have to start all other again.

Monza 2's are a more specialised refurb, due to the requirement to Diamond cut the face.

Don't go for the cheapest, and have a look at their previous work.

Agree this is why I would go for lepsons - if you go over to Detailing World and type lepsons in the search you will get the idea :happy2:

Hi,

Cars black, 18"monzas, leather interior.
Pretty much standard at the moment but having found this site I could easily spend loads!! Looking for a carbonio intake at the moment and was thinking a stage 1 map. How about you?

Asked at ko this morning....£85 a wheel. Two of them have noticeable scrapes and the other two just some small digs. Dare I say it but was thinking getting two done and putting them on one side with thethe other two just polished up?!

That's not a bad idea as the re-finshed ones won't 100% match the originals but it doesn't matter if the two different styles are on opposite sides of the car.
Put the non refurbished ones on the side that your girlfriend likes to kerb, then you can have them done next!
