Will be sad to see the Golf go, but excited about its replacement.

guess what it is...... 6 pots as standard and over 300bhp. First to guess correctly gets a prize  :jumpmove:

I'm with Mike (although he beat me to it).. From the BM stable and ends in 35i? I'll go with the same as me and a 135i DCT?  :wink:

Not yet bud  :sad1: . Official delivery is w/c 2nd May, but when I called in yesterday to pay for my BMW Performance goodies, the salesman was telling me that a lot of recent deliveries were coming in a week or so early.. So fingers crossed, not long now..  :party:
Then she shall be driven straight from the showroom to the bodyshop for some powder coating treatment :evilgrin:

BabyBMW is ok, but it's mainly occupied of the sootchucker army. Some nice chaps on there though.. 1addicts is the place to go for the interesting stuff..  :wink:

Ace. I got the clutter a week early, think they make it seem worse so you upscore them on the post sale evaluation for their bonus.

Get it run in with a trip to Anglesey on the 2nd, you can witness all manner of stupidity. I think Wilko is going for the roof this time, after his reversing skills at Oulton. I'll be collecting more gravel!

Not new, but yes it is a 35i.

a 135i step auto (wanted dct but couldnt afford brand new) so got a low milage graphite gray one, collect it a week on monday.

However the modding has already started, Quaife diff bought as well as 4 new non runflat tyres. Although the looks of the car still seems to be a bit love it or hate it. I dont think they are the best looking car ever but stg1 will see circa 370hp and 380ft/lb and with decent tyres and diff it will be massive fun. Will be posting up a big 'for sale' link for the goodies from the Golf, probably towards the end of the month. No dibs on any bits yet. it will be first come, first served  when the post goes up.

i'll be interested to see the build thread on this dave, i saw a car at birds down the road they were putting 2 big garret turbos in there a couple of months back and going for nearly 600hp!  :surprised:
jason did say to me all they need is the ARB a diff and a map but then youd want a cooler an exhaust etc etc and once again it never ends lol

I dislike the auto box in my 335d, too soft and slow but tested a 135i auto with the newer box and it actually felt pretty good, admittedly not as good as the DCT but a hell of a lot cheaper and 90% of the fun.

Diff is ordered, non-runflat tyres ordered, exhaust is a maybe at present so have opted to order some decat front pipes from a friend of mine that tunes BM's in the USA. will make a build thread as and when I get it.

Will post up a for sale thread for my Golf later :happy2:
