Suspension Choices
« on: April 23, 2011, 05:16:30 pm »
Just a quick poll to see what you guys has chosen for suspension on your precious  :happy2:
Please enlighten us in what considerations you had and if the choice lived up to expectations  :notworthy:

I'm running KW V3's as they were a good offer on here and the choice was between them and Bilstein PSS10 B16. They have been okay, but given the choice today after having them on the car for 2 years and tried another GTI with the Bilstein solution i would go for Bilstein, reasons being Bilsteins have alloy adjustmentthings for height adjusting, and easier adjustment on the front for damping/rebound.

Should i have forgotten some please PM me and i'll ad it to the Poll  :drinking:

Over the top mod list ;o)

What should I do if I have run about 4 from the list? I think I should just go with the best of the lot.
Though you did forget to put air

I'm with Danish on the Bilsteins :happy2:

Awesome coilovers and far, far better than the Eibach's I had on previous to the Billies(Eibach's use KW V1 dampers)
Golf R gone.

Need to put Gaz on that list....

"when" I get the mk5, I will be using GAZ gold.
2 of my previous motors have had GAZ on them, and they are the best........IMHO.
(And nice to support British too!)
