So.. at Thruxton on Saturday i got a panicked call from my Fiancee.
"Ive broken down at chester services, the diesel light came on so I stopped to fill up. I started to fill up and a guy runs at me shouting dont put any more in because its all coming out of the bottom."
So Laura rang the RAC, who would be 2 hours. In the mean time, the guy who stopped her putting an more fuel in and his 2 mates decide to take a look see if they can fix it. They found that a fuel pipe had split, one that runs to the pump on the right of the engine block and to the hard metal lines that run along the front of the block. So.......
"These guys think they can fix it... they have got some pipe and they are fixing it"
So we agree that she should wait for the RAC guy to come and check it. The RAC guy turns up and says that they did a good job and will run for a few days easily!
So lucky... and just goes to show that there are some good people out there that will go out of there way to help.
Sorry for waffling, just thought I would share the story!
