None at all Darren but the turbo going on mine was my fault :signLOL:i was going to go the same route as you but i have decide to put the money towards a new header unit

I can only think its to get the turbo off, but that can be done by removing just a driveshaft.

you are right about the drive shaft however on a job as big i think more space would have been the rezon why its only a 2 bolts

I think it was just so access was better? Both drive shafts are in and he has just taken the cradle and rack out.

Yeah I know Steve, He is a good egg, did a stirling job of a rebuild on my mates Cosworth many moons ago and fitted a T35 Rally Spec Turbo to my Cosworth. This was while he was at the Swillington Garage. Haven't seen him for ages, prob since going into newer VAG's which have been in warrenty.

I'll have to call up for a natter with him.

Hope all is well after the work is done for you mate.

Cheers mate I hope so too.  The garage at swilly burnt down apparently something to do with a boiler next door, took a brand new Porsche turbo and a couple of cossie's and scoobies :sad1:

He's still doing the cossies but more into the general stuff now.
