In order to do what?

I'd imagine any cleaner is safe provided it's diluted down enough. My current fave is still Bilberry.

Remember, you can clay them, polish them, and seal them.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Ooh! Very cherry will be my next purchase once bilberry runs out.

Currently using poorboys wheel sealant.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

I just sealed my freshly refurbed Monza 2's with Gtechniq C5, cracking product.

Cleaning wise my current favourite is Auto Finesse Imperial or APC diluted 10/1 :happy2:

Bilberry is good and cheap. Get the concentrated stuff and dilute as you see fit.

You can then use iron-x (don't let it dry on - just leave for 5 - 10 mins)

Clay

Then I use Bilt Hamber Auto Balm one or two coats followed by three coats of PoorBoys Wheel sealant.

Keep up with the PoorBoys every month or so.

Wheels clean up with a hose pipe & gental wipe with a cloth.

Use the AutoBalm on the calipers and exhaust tips. Works a treat.  :happy2:
No Golf anymore.
Enjoyed the last five years of ownership of Mk5 & 6 GTIs.
Plus an excellent forum for knowledge and new ways to deplete the bank account.
Thank You Everyone.
