If you type brakelight into search it comes up with a link to another golf forum which someone has done a how to guide with pictures, i would copie the link for you but im on me ipad n thats a bit techical for me lol

Sorry to drag this up! I bought a new high level brake light from VW, firstly they gave me an IBIZA light! want hasnt happy. Gonna get a new one today! I also dont see how it clips in, but like you said maybe a bit of sealent might help!!
