Couple more additions today

New Rev N PCV, mine was still on the original one from 2005 and was starting to idle a little rough, this has sorted that problem one.

Also couldn't believe the difference in the old vs. new PCV, the new one feels like it's twice as heavy and much better built than the original one, so VW do listen sometimes

Also fitted the Draft 42 boost tap (thanks Keano  :happy2:) and linked it up to the PLX boost sensor ready for setting it up with my wifi OBD-II monitor on the iPad

And finally swapped the 225/40/18 Hankook RS2's tyres over to some 235/40/18 Dunlop Sport Maxx TT's, should give some much needed grip for the wet track days :driver: :driver:

How easy is it to change the PCV?

2 clip on pipes and 4 x T25 screws once you have got the engine cover off  :happy2:

Sounds like the hardest bit. Unfortunately!  :sad1:

Wonder if it's worth doing for the sake of it. Anything else I need or do I just walk into VW with that part number?

Steve, did you go from BSH catch can to lastest REV PCV?  Did you have any issues while using the BSH you was trying to rule out?

The bar for the wheels is a good idea Steve, I guess you needed it to get above the battery, it would make my wheels alot easier to hold in the back, you could even put clamps on the ends to hold them in the middle.

Will you get 4 wider wheels across the back? Mine looks a bit tight.

You know when I see those wheels I'll be getting the colour chart out  :happy2:
