i have 15" wheels on my 140 tdi with winter tyres . they were off a golf tdi s and fit no probs . do you need different bolts? i just used the ones that were holding the 17" classics on

I gave the lad who bought my wheels the bolts  :ashamed:

Iv now got tapered ones on my existing alloys so not sure which ones I will need  :confused:

Not sure what a tapered bolt looks like mate . the ride quality on the 15 s is immense tho its amazing what a bigger side wall does especially on this countrys knackered roads

The head is V shaped and not flat. What tyres have you got on yours? Any hub caps or centre caps?

Ive got debicia frigo winters made by goodyear. and the steels are with wheel trims as on the basic golf models . they look ok . the best thing is i got the full set of steels with og vw trims and one brand new budget tyre ,the other 3 were bald for £30 . will get a pic up asap mate it sits ok

There was a set on ebay but i think they have sold now. No pics on as yet, they are currently being powder coated  :party:
Iv got 195/65 tyres  :driver: Its going to look like a 4x4!

Cheers, i dont really want hub caps, can you get centre caps that fit on these? something like this...

they are already fitted but as it was dark when they were finally on we couldnt get pics! they were done by vanden powdercoaters in bolton, they charged 140 including shot blasting to remove the rust! think it was £60 for shot blasting and £80 for powdercoating.
