I know I like the leather seats a lot but Audi leather seems to hold up better my mates got a 52 plate a4 and the seats are mint after 160k miles yet these golfs seem very worn quickly.

They keep the good leather for audi's and give us the rubbish stuff!

So some little updates! Iv decided with the springs on at the moment, its not low enough so bought these:

Winter mode has finally set in so now its rocking these again:



I always enjoy jacking the car up and notice the car is falling off the jack due to a dodgy paving slab so we moved it onto the road and sorted it there.

The summers needs to be packed away but needed a good clean first




And finally its nearly ready so we did some measuring up (this is my brothers new place / my new cleaning station!)

I bought some off ebay when i had my type r, it was easy to work with but all the graphic faded and rubbed off after a short period of time!

I got mine off ebay aswell, iv had a quick look but can't find the seller. Iv had x2 types and its all been good. One lot has been on the red strip on my grille for over a year with no problems!

Loving your car joe and the mods you have done, are your xenon headlamps the genuine ones as I've seen a few people on here with after-market versions ?

They are just the xenon look ones. Couldnt find any good actual xenons!
