What do the Mtec headlights look like ? like the new steering wheel tho , must be nice to be able to control the stereo volume from the wheel. that bugs me about my standard gt one and i think its somthing VW should have included at that spec

Just much whiter, not had chance to actually drive it in the dark, not needed to! Il try and get a picture. Can also cycle through the midline too.

Loving the new lights, inside and out. My Philips Diamond Vision Headlights popped recently and I was looking for equivelants to replace them with. You've made my mind up for me, do you have ebay (or other shop) links to then H7 bulbs. Also where did you get you're interior lights?

Loving the progress, that steering wheel looks mint. Makes me really want to fit mine. I've had it in my room since November!  Was it a hard job? Did you disconnect the battery before removing the Airbag?

I love the steering wheel, my car handles much better aswell which is a benefit!  :signLOL: Airbag was easy, disconnected the battery, pinged the airbag off and then its just a 10mm spline bit i think!

Chhers for the link, I'll hopefully be making some purchases soon.  :happy2: I think the steering wheel is held on with an M12 Splined Bit is it not? I've really no excuse as I've even had the tools (Entire bit set and torque wrench) since Xmas!!  :rolleye:

Some kind of spline bit anyway! I didnt look at the size, I might be getting confused with the seatbelt runners as thats a spline aswel i think! The interior kits in 9 or 11 bulbs. I bought the 9 bulb set but my boot and glove box are still crappy yellow bulbs, maybe thats where the extra 2 bulbs go

  Mate, I love you for having the gonads to do this. I had a Mk4 Golf in silver and always thought that it's the best colour, an almost blank canvas, to work with whatever colour wheels, mirrors, roof etc. I almost had my BBS CH 002's in lime green, but chickened out at the last minute.

Just read the whole thread. Good work mate. Interesting as I'm looking to trade my S3 in for a 140 GT TDI. Think I'll be fitting a mixture of R32 and GTI body parts and some BBS as well in the long run. It looks brilliant and fair play for having the balls to try the pink wheels.
