I'll consider anything at the right price and if the product is good mate lol. On this occasion, only Ben at Shark has convinced me to consider my position. I'm not tempted by GIAC etc.

There is a downside though which is that now Stattlers are REVO vendors, I feel I might get better support because I go there for everything (as Hurdy did.)

Does anyone think another +1 to 'Fuelling' VIA the SPS would make a diff (+ leans out the mix I'm told) or not? The car currently runs Hurdys settings, no idea if he had the same CEL probs.

Matt

the error I had was
008584 - Bank 1; System too Rich at Idle
               P2188 - 008 - Implausible Signal
new MAF and PCV didnt make any difference.
I had Revo DSG software loaded onto my car on friday, might be able to brake the 340bhp barrier now :rolleye:
Just waiting for a slot at PDtuning to get it back on the dyno. I must admit it has made the gear changes smoother, and its nice to be able to change gear when you want to rather that when it decides :happy2:

I have heard leaking seals on the  HPFP can cause this fault code? I don't think i'd go from Revo. My car seems to like it and it's relentless power on the road. Been running it for 40k ish now and never got a faul code. Interesting how some engines give problems with Revo and others don't. However my clutch doesn't like Revo but i don't mind upgrading it, worthwhile mod.

Well, if it was the fuel pump at fault, I had the same pump on when I ran Bluefin stage 3, PDTuning stage 2, and a stock file, and the code didnt appear on any of the other remaps, but appeared 20mins after installing Revo.

Anyway, back to topic
I had the dsg box remapped,  so torque limiter has now been raised.
I made the trip back to the Rolling road to see what the results are like, even on the graph  the torque is limited to the new limiter, where it flatlines, so would be interesting to see how this map performs on a manual gearbox!

how many miles had you done after the remap when you had the last dyno before the DSG remap?  Might have now fully adapted

Its a job job PDTs graphs are always scaled the same as it helps to compare the curves, ....hang on a minute.....

your  now making 334Hp about 1500rpm earlier which is good

I'd done about 250miles before I had it RR'd the first time, I've only covered about 100 miles since the last Dyno.
At least I got what I was after in the end

Glad to get over 340, now dom might leave me alone

Janner, stop whinging about scaling, dom will be emailed a graph with the scaling the same as before, he took that photo before the dyno'ing (if thats a word?) was finished :P

Shows what good DSG sofware can do, its such an overlooked mod!

I have exactly that code on Revo Stage 1 and Revo stock - oil stank of fuel so replaced the HPFP as a precaution, miles better now but code keeps coming back even on Revo stock.

PCV already done by previous owner, going to check for boost leaks next, then change MAF, after that I'm out of ideas short of sticking the OEM code on to see if that sorts it.

How much was DSG software?

Its what i do    I have to produce grading graphs for HV Switchgear all the time so im hot on scaling lol

Didnt think DSG would add that much power tbh :surprised:, thought maybe it would make the power further on due to the limiter being raised but not make that power earlier.  maybe some adaptation i guess, either way that makes the DSG remap good £/bhp IMO

Nathan, are you a stock file, or revo stock version that has been switched by an spp switch?

Pm me if you like.

Yes Dave, no more hassle off me until at least next year when I move onto the suspension upgrades
I've been contemplating Revo DSG software for a while now, PDT will vouch for that, should have got it at christmas when I was going to and would have saved £££££
Its more than the fact it gives extra power and torque, makes a big difference to the way it shifts, doesnt change gear by itself anymore in manual mode, also changes gear a lot smoother than what it did before. A good mod, wish I had done it earlier. It isnt cheap though, but I would have got it eventually anyway regardless of what map I had on :happy2:
The MAF didnt make any difference when I changed mine mind.
By the way, revo stock by the sps isnt a true stock file, only true Revo stock file is when the dealer completely flashes the car back to stock with his laptop. Mine was still requesting 130 bar of fuel pressure when set to stock via the sps!
