Mine has a flat spot around this area and I am the same but with the OE engine cover fitted.  I am going to fit the RS4 fuel pressure valve to see if this fixes it.  But I very rarely use that region of the rev band in my daily driving, so it doesnt present itself as an issue to me.

The new logs look better.  :happy2:

I would let the ecu fully adapt to the higher octane petrol then go from there .

Car is on the 3rd tank of 99. So it should have adjusted fully by now.

It's classic symptoms of fuel cut IMHO but your logs don't appear to indicate that.

What software is on the car?

I thought it might have been fuel cut but as said it doesnt show that in logs even though the flat spot is still there pretty bad.

I am going to try running vpower for a few tanks and see if it helps.

Found it. It looks ok to me, maybe a little lean I know mine ran a bit richer at stage 1 than that.

Since fitting my intake I have had a flat spot at around 5200rpm mainly in 4th, 5th, 6th gear. I have put oem intake back on and car seems fine but noticeable less eager to go. I did some searches and could it ge early signs of pcv? I noticed there has been a few people who have had similar issues after fitting ITG and few other intakes.

Needs hpfp and rs4 valve
