Drove back from Cornwall this afternoon in the family Jetta TDI,
and between Exeter and Bridport we were with a Porsche Carrera GT.
Holy smoke, the noise that thing made was amazing,
and although when he was sticking at a decent cruising speed we kept up,
when he nailed it,
the noise and speed of it was just astounding, I've never seen quickness like it!!

Lovely.
And at £350k you would hope so too!!!!

....Was it a silver one on GB plates? Slim guy driving? (I'm based in Bridport and the car is local). I could tell you more about it if it's the same guy - And it's not his only supercar and he didn't pay £350k for it. I met him when I found him admiring my car would you believe!

Yeah, gotta be, he turned off into Bridport and certainly seemed to be enjoying it!!

Yippie!  :drinking: Finally got my MKV back for good today ;] Love the look and feel of a good car back under my bum. 5 months and 2 weeks was way too long enduring withdrawals. Can't wait for the sun to return so I can get out there and gather new pics to share.

Also thanks for the feedback regarding the WALK. Going to pick up a pair for sure.

if it was driving fine before then probably not! had mine done recently too and was just the same as when i dropped it off.

peace of mind is probably the best feeling out of it!

So today my mates came back from afghan safe and sounds. And the first things they as me is can you bump my car. Went and jumped the cars then filled up got the engines warm and went for a little play on the autobahn and down the country lanes in germany.
Most fun I have had in a while.
I have big respect for there cars too vauxhall Corsa VXR Nürburgring and renualt clio rs sport 200 they did well to keep up.

I am now glad there back and feeling quite happy :)

Badge looks good, how about colour coded behind the VW sign, looks a little like a black hole at ATM. Only my opinion,

I'm currently setting about doing this mod. I sourced a very cheap 3D badge from ebay and hope I'm doing my bit to help others too, here:
