I dont mind doing it here.  Its not worth the amount of 888 rubber Id shred comming to you lol  :scared: :scared:

Gave the GT and the vRS a bit of a scrub today, but thanks to the ongoing hose pipe ban in my area, alas no snow foam was harmed in the process!  :sad1:

removed front door card to try and solve a few rattles which are semi successful


now a new rattle has reared its ugly head in the centre of the dash.  really not impressed with the build quality of these thing TBH. the worst car I've ever owned for squeaks and rattles



also fitted the whitteline bump steer kit so now need to get the wheel alignment sorted again.

Visited Kalu today to fit my highline dash.  :happy2: Had originally planned to fit a non-gti highline dash but Kalu had a spare HL from an Edition30 so optted for this instead. Tried fitting my MF buttons but looked as if they are incompatable with the newer RCD510 as theyre the older moulded version, or worse, may be faulty  :scared: Will have to try them with my old RCD500 before selling them on, along with the non-gti highline dash.

Installed my blue blind-spot mirrors and dash cubby today. Also used vcds and re-coded the windows to go up and down using the remote. Re-coded for the rear fog so I just need to install it this week.

Swapped my wheels so the new tyres are on the rear. Just ordered new boot lower boot trim I snapped, new window switch cover and steering wheel bolt as its been off more than 4 times.

Ran over a drainpipe....... On the motorway. Was tootling at 65mph, car in front must have blown it into my direction and hit it. Scuffed the underside of the splitter, which you cant see and knocked my tracking out a bit. Need new tyres as iv got lots of inner edge wear so will wait til i replace those before getting it aligned and camber sorted  :confused:
