So. After long waiting I finally managed to fit new Instrument Cluster into my car. They are from Scirocco R-line and as You can see they are UK version in miles. Everything works fine, all MK6 MFSW buttons works on that.







And I have the Bluetooth display on the clocks too. The only one disadvantage of the new clocks is I lost Light&Vision and Convenience menu because those two modules use different protocol to communicate with the instrument (BAP).

That look's fantastic,love the colour of the screen and white dial's!

I know someone who can fit these but said the only way is to disable the immobilizer in the engine if you have a MK5 golf.

This true? Sorry for the techy questions!

Swapped out my climate control panel for a late model eBay bargain to get rid of the small scratch on the orginal that has bugged me for the last 3 years!  The devil is in the detail - its amazing how much better about the world I felt on the drive to work this morning...

I know how you feel. I recently swapped out the crntre vets because of an annoying dash rattle. But I found three screws!

Gave my tail pipes the cleaning of their life! They are by no means perfect, but so much better than before! I did the best I could with the materials I had to hand.

After pics don't really do it enough justice though. The tips are a bit to shiny to get a great image!

Well im heading down to pick up my FINALLY fixed ko4'd GTi...which apparently made 341bhp on the rollers this morning. And passed its MOT with the brakes as advisor's

Ripped out my old centre console to fit my newly trimmed leather console.
Not the easiest task as my airride controls are all wired in. In the end a mini hacksaw was called upon which swiftly did the trick.
Oh, and vacuumed my car (due to said mini hacksaw  )

Funny you should say that as my VW specialist said the same thing and refused to do it!

Service... timing belt, water pump, brake pads, brake discs, oil, air filter, pollen filter, plugs etc.. = poor



At least its done and out of the way... every cloud and all that

Fitted the kufatec loom for my heated seats only to find out once I had fitted it all, the connector for the cecm is different...  Which means I'll have to find one that fits....
