Cheers. Haha, I actually like it. Its a Golf ball with red GTI lettering. It's actually by VW, came from the press launch pack when the MKV GTI was launched in America. Never seen another one before.

Took out the EGR and adjoining manifold flap to give them a clean, found they were fairly clean compared to some of the pictures I've seen.

Noticed my flap wasn't opening/closing on ignition being turned off, which explained a bit of a shudder on shutdown.
Anyhow £147 later I got the part from ECP (Pierburg same as OEM) and fitted it in minutes - car shuts down so smoothly now, very happy with it.

Expensive fix for a part that plays such a small role, but I like things to be right with the car.
Used to have Edition 30 - number 009 and a GT TDI 140.
Now have an S4 B8 Avant (stage 2)

Well today I've been up at AKS Tuning getting H&R springs fitted along with a Superpro Antilift Kit, Oh and the revised Revo map with Linear throttle.  Big thanks to Alex, very pleased with how the car drives and looks.  :jumpmove: :jumpmove:

Heres a before picture, taken this morning on arrival at AKS

And now a couple of after pics taken on my way home   :jumpmove:
(sorry very dirty due to weather today  :fighting:).

Well chuffed, just need them to settle in a little more now.

Looking very good indeed, oh Viking Lord!  :notworthy:

Those wheels look especially good and suit the car really well.

Looking very nice mate. Almost the same set up Alex fitted to mine a few weeks back. Was on the phone to him earlier and said you had been down. He is always trying to spend money you haven't got aswell. Tried to twist my arm with a clutch and LSD last weekend haha

Looks nice m8...

How do you find the ride compared to the std springs... I am thinking of lowering mine and that looks like the kind of drop i would like... sort of holding back as the last thing i want to do is make it to hard which would ruin it for me (kinda old now)

Do you have the part no for the springs ? and how much were they fitted  (PM if you like) cheers
