lol how sad is this
i bought some vw stickers for my 16 inch plastic MINI wheel trims to do on my winter steelies  :ashamed:
18i monzas sitting cuddled up in the garage waiting for the roads to clear
the shame of it lol
No shame in that. What would be shameful would be not putting VW logos on them...
yeah, my neighbour felt sorry for me and gave me his wifes unused trims, at least i took the mini ones off lol

Impromptue visit to my local VW dealership to replace four fuel injectors and wiring loom under recall but it did require a 90 wait on the side of the M3 and Pete from the RAC towing the car to the dealership.

Paid R Tech yet another visit, got the TiV mapping done (already have Stage 1.5 with them), the car accelerates much smoother now, bloody well worth the 180 mile round trip in my eyes! :-D
Next WMi! :-P

TIV mapping worth it then???

Hi Nick, i feel it is yes. Hard to be subjective though as the car was already quick (in my eyes). However, something i did notice when i took it out on that small test-run was how it definitely felt quicker and smoother, ie. i put the foot down a bit and the car just went!! I notice too that whereas in the past, the car didn't like 'taking off' until the temperature hit 90, but now it wants to go earlier; i still wait of course until up to temperature!!  :scared:
It could be me, but it seems a bit more 'revvy' now too, and the exhaust note is a bit more prevalent, even moreso than what it was!! So, in direct response to your question, Yes, it's most definitely worth it!!  :driver:
Now, to upgrade intercooler, or not!!??
