The red lens just needs to be removed. Mine are both clear, although I didn't personally remove it, mine were already done when I bought them.

I definitely prefer the more symmetrical look :happy2:

Ah! i see what you mean now. all you do is use another reversing aspect  they sit in the aperture lose. It really is simple to do the swap mod, all you do is cut of the plastic tabs with a knife, do the swap then glue back on. You just have to make sure you use the correct glue.  :happy2:

My turn to say nice job  :signLOL: :congrats:  :happy2:

Looking sweet!!

Thanks Steve, still not a patch on Phylis though. One day I'll be brave enough to park next to her without mine looking like a turd (albeit a highly polished one).

^^^^
Very nice :happy2:

Love those rear lights (I might be a bit biased though )

Cheers bud. Seeing yours (and NODZ's) in another thread got me thinking about getting the Valeo unit for mine, they seem to look good on any colour of car.  :happy2:

Martin, your car is absalutely awesome buddy love everything about it,im going to have the same thing done ie colour code the bumpers and s/skirts your car is an inspiration for me anyway keep up the good work pal, totally minted gti fair play to you :congrats: :congrats:

Dougie :happy2:

Thanks Dougie, too kind.

impressive looking results there, everything just looks like it ---FITS WELL---
might have to bite the bullet and get them rear clusters
where did you decide to get them from eventually,
noticed you didnt change the inner red lense cap, wasnt sure myself if i would bother swapping it out either
looking way good martin  :happy2:

Cheers Scott.  :happy2:

I was lucky and bought them from a fellow forum member. As for the fog reflector, I'm sending the inner units off to have LED's added to them (for the Skyline mod thingy) so will get the reflector removed by the company doing that as I would prefer them to look symmetrical.

Outer units are hopefully being coded in a couple of days so it will be "half a Skyline" with the polo look.

Put my wheels in for refurb whilst I'm at work, happy with the outcome. Good job I bought some nice new centre caps too.

Used to have Edition 30 - number 009 and a GT TDI 140.
