Acquired a set of OEM VW Imola alloys for putting my winter tyres on, they just fit over 312mm brakes with a few mm's to spare. £50 all in! :happy2:

I do indeed. Going to powdercoat the wheels, using Pentland Powdercoating http://www.pentlandpowdercoating.co.uk
If you go there ask for Peter and tell him Sandy Dodds referred you (you should get a good deal).

Also near Loanhead, Pro Tint is a very good and well priced tinting company. There run by Autohaus Edinburgh, Audi Specialist in the unit next door. Mention my name there also to see if you'll get a deal. :happy2:

Ah I see, my bad. Haven't heard of Starlite yet. Pentland is one of my work's subcontractors. I use a wee local garage in Loanhead called Springfield Motors. Mention me (again!) and he should quote you happy. ;)

I'm keen to meet up with Brad Gill though. As he's a fellow member and mk5 owner. Will let you know when I do.

I'm ashamed to say that I washed and polished it for the first time since we bought it (almost two months!)

Have been wanting to do it for ages just haven't had the time!
