Went from these;

To these;

Nothing startling,just the same as original but new discs and pads.
Funny thing tho...The caliper bracket bolts were different sizes on either side.21mm on the passenger side and 22mm on the drivers side.Is this the norm? :confused:

Had to re-clean top half of the grill after it rained last night  :fighting: and then, true to my word i cleaned the bottom half of the grill and dressed with Poorboy's Natural Look to get it back to the OEM look. Coming along quite nicely now even if i say so myself  :laugh:

Fitted a new fuel sender unit in the tank of my GTI - you've got to love the smell of unleaded in the morning!

Only took me 30 minutes start to finish and it went like a dream.  Used VCDS to run an adaptation afterwards and all feels good on a spirited test drive. :driver: Definitely smoother running too. :pomppomp:
OEM+ 2005 GTI DSG (high factory standard spec and upgraded with S3 alloy hubs, S3 alloy wishbones, Bilstein B8s and VWR springs by my own hands) owned since 2008 and still loving it!
