Cleaned my steering wheel. It wasn't actually in too bad a state but looks pretty darn good now - no shiny bits on it whatsoever, just a nice black matte finish  :driver:

What products you use please :)

Any use?

Any good?
Taking my time to bed them in. Done only 60 miles in them so far. The ride does feel firmer and you realise/remember how much the F1s softened the ride. I remember when I had F1s all round for the first time and felt there was a "wallowiness" and lack of feedback that I didn't have with the PS2 tyres. The advantage of the F1s were going round corners in the wet - the PS2s were more likely to break traction whereas the F1s kept on gripping.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Just ordered 4 Michelin Pilot Super Sports to replace knackered Bridgestones and PS3's. Hoping for good things, hope I chose the right tyre over the Goodyears! Bring on some grip!

I came from F1's that were only 10 months old & 25% worn. You won't be disappointed!
Had my first track outing with them last week, far better than F1's there too.

Gone but not forgotten :-)

Is quite normal for tpms to alarm if the tyres have been removed / refitted. Check the pressures ad reset the tpms by holding the button  :happy2:

How easy were the deflectors to fit? I would like some, but not sure which ones to go for??

Only went for the Heko ones as seen them on a previous car
As MC71 Said very easy but you might have to double the fitting time if you have a 5door  :signLOL:

Seemed the pressures on all the tyres was about 3psi lower than I had them set at before so that must have been it. Inflated and reset

Received and fitted two CG Lock's to my seat belts ready for next weekend on track.

Got a bargain from eBay so I'm happy! :innocent:

Also thoroughly cleaned my track wheels before drying and sealing them before their inaugural outing next weekend! :pomppomp: :pomppomp:
