I vacuumed the interior of mine today in preparation of selling. Lots and lots of husky hair :hehe:

@bluebert92 I'm thinking of the same suspension setup - would be good to know how it performs.

I've read a lot into it and although the b4's aren't perfect for performance with the sports line it's said that normal road driving will be fine with them on however if you wanted more aggressive track style stuff probably go b8s or what not!

In any case I'm hoping to fit them by next week so I'll let you know for sure!

The caution running oem ride height dampers with lowered springs is that sooner than normal the dampers will, or rather may, leak. I ran Sportlines with oem style dampers that had 20k miles on the dampers before installing the springs...and within 35k more miles...3 of the 4 dampers had begun to leak.

So sportlines on OEM dampers will cause the dampers to fail prematurely. That's my set up  :signLOL: what can be done about it? Coilovers?

Same here but my standard shocks have lasted a fair while, only just changed my rears (to standard again) as it was flagged up on last MOT and I bought a set then.

Do what I'm doing and get air ride lol  :driver:

When you fit the ALK you can also do this mod to prevent subframe knocking: http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?page=mods&mod=15.

LOL...not always, and why I said "the dampers will, or rather may, leak". "Will" in my case..."May" in the case of others :happy2:

I installed Bilstein B8's...but other sport dampers for lowering springs will do.
