Finally got round to replacing the cam follower, pcv and dv on our 57k mile edition 30. They didn't need it however but I had the bits.

Did the front brakes and started the rears but thought no chance getting those carrier bolts off so will have it booked in for that.

Fitted both my ED30 front and rear valances ans they look good  :jumping:
Bad points are rear arch liners were a pain to fit to the new locating holes under the rear wheels and front needs a little triming but no time for that shi** so I'm a leave it as is. Also front needs to really be screwed in where the oem lugs fit as it's kinda loose.  will do that when the bumper comes off for the R6 IC

Boost looks low too!
Hey there John Hurdy, it is 21 psi now...normal for GIAC K04-HO tune here in the states. I quit running the DriverMotorsport K04+ tune. It was 25 psi but never beat my 1/4 ET of the GIAC tune and I had to rebuild the engine last year because of rings pinched in the piston grooves. I thought it safer to reduce the boost
My biggest issue is finding the cause of the fuel pressure. GIAC doesn't want to send me an improved stronger tune, having IE connecting rods now, until they see this corrected...and I don't know what to do other than a new hpfp w/internals next.  :sad1:

Cleaned the Neuspeed p-flo filter and soaked the MAF sensor for 20 minutes in isopropyl alcohol. Recharged the filter with K&N oil and allowed the MAF to dry for 1 hour...then put it all back together.

Thanks buddy, the reason why is because I still run with the box cover and read many posts of the hpfp sensor on the top breaking so had to buy one for safety precautions. Ordered a CAI as I'm fed up with that ugly box now so here comes a Ramair CAI

I'd be more interested in one that covers the N75, (top right) I'm scared of removing the engine cover now in case I break the sodding connector off again! A big 5mm thick stainless cover should protect it from my ham-fistedness  :signLOL:

No worries as I though I was going mad :stupid:

That sensor will be fine as the cover is higher internally at that end  :happy2: @GTI8v

Ahh...I ran mine for some time with the cover modified after adding the intake:

...but I tossed out the cover a couple of years ago because tired of it :happy2:
