@r5gtt I don't need to tell you why I edited your post mate
 sorry if I did anything wrong as I've not seen it yet  :sad1:
I edited the speed you said you approached. We've got to be careful, on the road, and on here ☺
Very true and hank you again  :ashamed:
No worries dude.

Thanks again for sorting the DV bits out by the way. You know... I'm considering actually skipping the DV blank on the k03 and just putting a k04 in there

There is one I've got my eye on. It hinges on a few things over the next few weeks - service, thermostat, insurance (all the boring stuff) - if the budget is there when I've got all that out of the way, and the turbo is still available, then it might just happen

Put in my ECS dogbone insert. Not driven yet so can't tell you what it's like. Nice and easy mod, took longer jacking up the car and making safe than it did to install.

Going to have a go at putting in my cruise control tomorrow, long driver down to Cornwall at the weekend so it'll come in handy.

Cruise Control is in and working  Really pleased! It only took an hour, and cost £13 for the stalk

no changing slip rings, steering wheel controllers, adding wires to pin 13's. Plug, code and play for me.

Travel tip from a local!

Avoid A30 at Temple, between Launceston and Bodmin if poss, but at all costs if travelling friday/sat.
Massive road works, very long delays....even when not peak holiday weekend.
If heading for Newquay area/ N coast take the  A395 & A 39 route just west of Launceston.
Once past the Kennards House junction for 395 there are very few alternative routes..... For the S coast go via Plymouth A 38.

The lazy tw@ts are now probably 6 months behind schedule, and appear to be in no rush to get finished?
Its gonna be a car park come BH weekend!
