That's some amazing heading!  :happy2:

Changed my fuel, pollen and oil filter on Saturday :) obviously oil too! Was as black as anything after 3000 miles with new engine! Glad I changed :)

Really need to give it a wash, been 4 weeks since my last one...  :ashamed:

Picked up the left inner, rear fog, tail piece today. So once installed I'll have full use of the Euro switch I installed last week.

Loving the W.A.L.K.'s. What an improvement over the oem bushings. Feeling much more through the steering wheel now and feel is much more solid up front under both acceleration and braking.

^^^ love the WALK on my car, big difference as you say. Truly believe that for the money it costs and the relative ease with which it can be installed it's the best mod that can be done.

So, I finally dd the numberplate relocation on the Jetta I've been dreaming of.

I bought a numberplate housing from T'internet which was the same as the Awesome GTI one.
Tried fitting my numberplate using it and it was rubbish, hardly any flex and it looked sh1te!

So.
Bin off the housing, numberplate straight mounted up.
It was a pain.

Luckily on the jetta the left / right vent is solid so you can drill a hole straight through the grill and double-nut lock from the rear.
The middle is a bit trickier and it needs my chocolate block, captive nut and bolt system to work!

anyway, I did it, I'm so happy wiht how it looks.
When my missus and I can be arsed we've got a private plate on retention to put on,
then it will be on metal pressed plates...

Check it out....

all marked up and ready to go

my chocolate block brackets!!!

all done....

Cleaning bird poo off my car, again, must be at least 5 consecutive days in a row now!  :fighting:  Not just the odd splat either, they must come out in force. Fighting a losing battle armed with my bird poo wipes, may have to think about wrapping the car up in cling film or something if they carry on like this.

....Side vent or steering column pod mounted? I'm surprised you haven't already got one, Mat. Very useful just as a monitor.  :happy2:
