Just washing the underside of the car. Got to keep it as clean as the top half. ;)

Did a good thorough cleaning to the inside today. Love my Swiffer duster. That thing really makes the job pleasant to do. Need a cabin filter for it as I change that every year.

As I am a JKM fanboy I applied a JKM sticker today:

There is a choice of colours and I chose blue, which is also JKM's corporate colour.

Oooo what are the choice of colours? Kate emailed me to ask if i wanted some but thinks shes on hols this week...

....Yep, Kate on hols and back on Monday.

Available colours are White, Black, Silver, or Blue.

They are good quality laser cut and stick on outside, not inside of surface (not inside a window, for example).

Just dropped mine off to get sportlines fitted and DV replaced over the weekend, while I'm away at the stone roses!

Where you getting that done? And what sort of price?

I have my suspension waiting to go on but not sure if I want to do it myself or not

A mate works in an Indy VW garage in Dunfermline mate (folks still live down here) so it's in there getting done. Getting the 4 springs fitted, dv and all 4 calipers painted. Be about £150 all in.

Gave the beast a quick wash. Just a wash nothing special as i hate washing cars! But I have started using the 2 bucket method and couldn't beleive how dirty the clean water went and how clean the soapy water stayed! Now I just need to get some more motivation to clay, polish and wax it! One step at a time! Here's a quick pic:

Mine is still covered in it (hopefully tonight's rain will wash it off) and with the hose pipe ban still in place for me, not sure when I will be giving her a wash :sad1:

That's not too bad, think I'll just be the standard £50 an hour if I get the garage to do mine. Got to get my car in for the exhaust to be changed anyway

I thought as the old engine bay cover was cracked, I would modify it for the EVOMS kit installed...

So before;

And work in progress... (still have to glue/smooth the crack and tidy it up)

Will post after pics in my build thread once finished...

If you feel that the 'silver grey' OEM centre strip is a PITA to keep looking clean (they never look clean except when brand new), you might consider a silver or aluminium-colour paint and it won't matter too much about smoothing it. Here's an example of the Halfords paint on what remains of my OEM centre strip:

It will stay looking bright and be easier to keep clean.
