Fitted my new centre upper and lower grilles today after washing the car (3 weeks without a wash)

stripe is removed as im painting it yellow to match my calipers and my modified engine cover which hopefully should be getting painted next week!

the old top grille coincidentally will be up for sale as soon as i post some pics!

^^^^
I must admit that the particular shade of yellow looks fine on your alloys and really great blue body. It looks like quite a warm yellow.

Why not paint your engine cover in a 'grey' to match your alloys? - Less contrast than yellow and black and a more direct match in styling.

because i change the wheels very often between the 4 (5 sets from next week)  and the constant colour will be calipers, gti stripe and engine cover!   :happy2:

I removed the out-dated Eyelids and then polished the lenses.
They were distorted where the double-sided tape was because a 3M prep wipe was used prior to their install.
I used just the polishing compound from this kit http://www.autogeek.net/3m-headlight-restoration-kit.html?productid=3m-headlight-restoration-kit&channelid=FROOG&utm_source=CSEs&utm_medium=GoogleProductSearch&utm_campaign=CSE&gclid=CKiqkrXd4bICFYaDQgodvDQA5A and it really worked well.
My neighbor came over and asked if I had something that would work on their cloudy headlights on their, new, used Mustang.
I went over and did all of the steps and it brought their H/L lenses back to life and crystal clear in about 1/2 of an hour.

My '07 MKV ran well Sunday;
All 1/4 mile runs were 13.0 to 13.1 et's @ 107+ mph on the pump fuel remap. Next year I will have slicks and looking for mid 12's ;]
I also won a, one ounce, silver dollar for the best reaction time in the 1st round of eliminations @ 0.006 seconds. I red-lighted in the 3rd round ;[
I started letting off of the brake while in DSG launch mode when the 2nd yellow light came on instead of the 3rd and all launches were 0.01 or less from then on ;]
My '07 at the show early once inside @ Pacific Waterlands 2012;

Dropped my car off at the garage this morning to get my Monza's refurbed and powdercoated anthracite grey and also to get the calipers re-dprayed.

Roll on 4pm when I get him back :pomppomp:

I will get them up when I get home later on today. That sounds tasty, I have a diamond black 5 door GTi so was wanting dark alloys. Thought Anthracite Grey would be a good shout and with getting the calipers re-done it would have that bright flash it needs to make it all look nicer..

Beyond excited to get it now!
