Left my window open last night in über wind and rain. Daren't go out and check how bad it is yet!

Auto close for rain sensor. Brilliant upgrade.  :happy2:

Not sure why this isn't as standard from the factory, Eddie-NL coded for me, good back up!

interesting upgrade, not sure i would actually want it though, if it rains i shut the windows :surprised:

It activates when the car is locked. So if the kids/mrs/you have accidentally left a window open, the car will close it if it starts raining.

Revo stage 1 remap, new fuel filter, powerflex dogbone mount and new diverter valve (revision G) fitted. The old one had a 3mm by 4mm tear in the sidewall of the diaphram. Also had the rear bumper re-sprayed as the other was scratched badly.

Unbelievable difference, it's fantastic.  Milltek non res catback and the RNS510 are being fitted next week, I picked up a revision h rns510 on eBay and the Milltek is on order so hopefully it will arrive next week!!!

All done, except the re-spray, by VW indy specialist VGS in Keston who are brilliant.

Went to the gym, really good little country road dash to get there. With the excellent torque it never leaves 4th!  banged out 80 lengths. (Well the last 30 were more like paddling) :ashamed:

Good to see the GTI in a car park full of Audi, Civics? And BLOODY MINI'S!!!!!! :fighting:

Away to hand it over to a trusted friends garage for a machine polish to make her look gorgeous, for a while Atleast. Then off down to Leeds tomorrow so pick up a set of Charlestons. 10 hour trip in total so will need to give her a bit of attention today... Lol

Cars been at JKM today for full service, brake fluid change, new fuel filter and having removed the ITG CAI recently gone to a Pipercross panel filter too. Running very nicely now.

Took my wife to Gunwharf Quays while there, cost more than the car did today. Factory outlet......my arse!   :sad1:

....I went to Gunwharf Quays while my car was at JKM last time - Bought an Oakley T-shirt (I wear prescription Oakleys so I am allowed!) and had delicious fried squid starter at Slug-n-Lettuce. Did you use JKM's Polo?

Very smooth 3-cylinder which takes you up to 30+ without realising it (not advised in Portsmouth) but no acceleration from 50-ish. Unbelievably high mpg number!

My car has gone into audi vw accident and repair... not an accident I might add.

I found some corrosion on the right wing and so it has gone in under warranty... new wing. woo!
There is also the possibility of a new left hand wing too and maybe even a respray for the back quarter panel+

... in the mean time I have been given a pimp wagon to roll around in,
