Driving to dry does work Scott, but you should be aware that once you take it on the road it will be getting dirt/grit particles on it. Then when you give it a wipe over afterwards you are rubbing that around the paintwork and scratching it. Just a warning. I microfibre towel dry mine straight after washing, it's quick and works perfectly.

yeah i see what you mean, i tried micro fibre cloths and found it just causes constant streaking, in fact a kitchen towel worked better ?

Felt a bit too groggy to drive mine yesterday, so my mate was round all day for super Sunday, so every time he went outside for a smoke, I went with him to 'keep him company' but really I just wanted to go and look at my car in the car park! I bloody love my Golf!

Went out for a long drive for the first time since accident. Haven't really had to test the Revo remap much before today, and bloody hell it's good! Car feels so responsive all the way through the rev range in all gears. It feels a really smooth, linear curve, with no low spots. Very impressive Revo. :happy2:

Try a Kent xl microfibre towel. They are huge and super absorbant and only cost a few quid on amazon. I use two of these and get a perfect finish in super quick time.

Turned 100,000 miles last night. Forgot to get the obvious picture but so far that's been 22,000 trouble free miles (except rust on the wings - resolved by Inch Engineering VW)   :happy2:

Swapped to my winters, fed up of looking at the scuffs on my monzas so gone a bit early with these! A frustrating 2 hours spent trying to get my nuts off though (said that before! Haha)
