nothing to do with - what did you do in your mk5 today but thought I would give you all a laugh -
me and my mk5 drove to b & q today after realising me xmas led lights for the garden where not working right when I took them out of storage.
bought one box for there, another for there, another for there and so on
got home and realised when I added all the light amounts up together it came to 2000 led's,,, yeah that's 2k lol
gonna be like blackpool  :jumping: :jumping: :jumping: :jumping: :jumping: :jumping: :jumping: :jumping:
kids will love it though

on another note I bought some cclimate control chrome rings from awesome gti about 3 weeks ago and no delivery, phoned them today and told me they where waiting for stock ?
I queried this as it said on their site item is available !!!
he said read the small print, it said if items out of stock it will be delivered in 7-14 days, still way over that time I told him,,, he said they are waiting for stock and don't place the order from supplier until they need a certain amount of stock from them and that will be at least 3 to 4 weeks from now !!!!
garbage customer service that is I tell you,,, I even e-mailed them twice a week ago about this with no reply.
awesome,,, not so awesome on this occasion

I know its not a solution to why the moisture is getting in mate....but have you thought about getting something like this for the colder months?

Put some winter 17s on with new snow tyres, as temperatures around here are starting to linger at 3C and under.
May make the car look sh*te but it's soooo much more comfortable going on uneven roads compared to the 18s.

Took it for a spin whilst it's dry to get the coating off the tyres, ESP kicked in a lot  :innocent:

Got the wheels to go on our other car when my wife gets back.
Used to have Edition 30 - number 009 and a GT TDI 140.
Now have an S4 B8 Avant (stage 2)

hmmm, looked at both, thanks for the idea, gonna hold of just now as the problem seems to come and go plus trying not to have anything at all on the car that is not oem unless necessary.
went in the car this morning, zero degrees and although the windscreen and windows where condensated the clocks and rear view mirror where ok today, and im thinking that the 5 minutes it takes to demist aint to bad as gives the engine time to warm up, if it was constant condensation on the clocks then I would do something now but thanks for the idea thoufgh

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Today I FINALLY got my audio sorted and sounding great.

I've installed an Audison Bit10 into my set up which takes alot more setting up with a laptop and a 30 band EQ per channel. Taken a bit of playing but its sounding tight and powerful now :)

....It's not just you. I've got fed up of pointing it out over goodness knows how many months. I reckon the servers want sorting out because they can't cope with the traffic. But if no-one has been accepted to replace SteveP yet........  :popcornsoda:

No, I don't blame SteveP for the way the forum servers are but just wish that whoever takes the helm will sort it out.
