Treated the car to a wash. Gave the new "smoked chromes" their first proper clean with wheel cleaner and then gave them a coat of wax.

love the wheels but I bet you aint driving in ANY snow / ice with those tyres  :surprised:
great rubber - same as mine but hopeless on any sort of frosting etc

I thought it would stay dry for most of today so I washed the Jetta, then fitted the bra - opinions welcome.

Then it started to rain, so I took this shot!

Thanks for looking
still cant decide if the bonnet bra's look stuoid or weirdly cool
good on you for posting the pic though, you got a good camera there for the second pic as well  :happy2:

Thanks. Don't generally get any snow around here, so it's not a problem. When we have had snow in the past, no summer tyre that I have had has been any good. Can't even get out of my driveway because the gentle slope is too much for it to handle!

Front and rear mud flaps fitted, rear windows tinted and front fog lights have had a slight tint on them as-well with a perforated black vinyl.
How hard can it be?

Yeah its a 5 door, Only had the rear windows done. Had them done slightly darker than standard. Used a local place to have them done, http://www.facebook.com/pages/Wicked-Tints/203610786439409?fref=ts There is a few pics on there of the "Fly eyes kit" they use on a few cars.

mud flaps ??? I was on the understanding they make the golf look stupid but I stand to be corrected on that one until I see pictures maybe  :happy2:

Depends on the colour of the car and whether its colour coded or not. Interestingly you can't get flaps the the R32 rear

They are the genuine VW ones I put on, Wasn't going to put any of the daft rally flaps on, The rear lower part of the rear bumper is un colour coded so they fit in nicely.

How hard can it be?

Don't think its space on the R32, just the design of the rear lower bumper i think.

I've seen them on a few colour GTI's and if they haven't been colour coded they work well as they are the same colour as the lower plastics
