Front and rear mud flaps fitted, rear windows tinted and front fog lights have had a slight tint on them as-well with a perforated black vinyl.
mud flaps ??? I was on the understanding they make the golf look stupid but I stand to be corrected on that one until I see pictures maybe  :happy2:

Depends on the colour of the car and whether its colour coded or not. Interestingly you can't get flaps the the R32 rear
maybe restricted by space on the r32 ?
so what colour gti suits mud flaps iyo

Don't think its space on the R32, just the design of the rear lower bumper i think.

I've seen them on a few colour GTI's and if they haven't been colour coded they work well as they are the same colour as the lower plastics
ah I see what you mean now, my lower plastics are not colour coded and car is black in colour, tbh I don't think the bottom plastic looks any better colour coded on a black car,
so I guess the flaps would actually enhance the look of the car on this set up ? what do you think

Had some flaps on mine when I bought it. Not my personal preference so they were off as soon as I got a chance.

and why don't you read things properly, we where discussing wether mud flaps look good or not on diff colour cars, nobody is slagging anyone's mods of here, we are simply having a casual discussion, is that ok with you  :stupid:
and whilst on the subject what other mods have you seen me slagging off ???
if you are referring to the bonnet bras I ACTUALLY CREATED THAT THREAD asking peoples advice about the bra's looking stupid or cool
I DO NOT slag peoples mods off, unless you have examples to actually show me ???

 I voice my opinion and you come back with words in bold CAPITALS
(It looks silly)

I do read things properly Scott. I have not just dreamed this up. You seem to aggravate quite a few members by typing things and pressing send before you think about what you have written.

Maybe you should just keep your opinion to yourself a bit more mate.  :happy2:

You don't always have to say that you don't like something and hurt someone's feelings....Someone who has spent good money, and felt proud enough to share their modifications on a forum that they are new to.

Just sometimes Scott, if u haven't got anything good to say, try (and I know you are a Great contributor to the forum) to bite your lip and not say anything.

Like I say, it's great a have a newbie like yourself that is so involved in the forum, and I look forward to seeing you at club events and forum meets/trackdays.

A bit of friendly advice. I hope you can take it.

Here here Monte well said,i also get the feeling from reading some of Scotts posts that he is always up for an argument maybe im wrong but thats how i percieve his discussions on here,as you have also correctly stated monte that Scott is very involved with this forum and that is a very usefull thing for all involved,as long as we all understand that on this forum as far as i can see it is a freedom of speech forum.

guys I get what you are saying I really do but nobody had a dig at anyone's mod's, we where discussing if mud flaps looked good on diff coloured cars and also asking if having the black plastic lower trim apposed to getting it colour coded made the flaps look better, the reason for the discussion is because I was thinking of flaps for myself and someone decided to help out by posting a picture.
now before my comment someone else put in a comment with the  symbol and no text ! did you have a go at this guy or was it just me ?
actually to be fair the picture of the flaps on the car on the thread was from a member who bought the car with them on and decided to take them off straight away so nobody was slagging anyone's mods off.
maybe when I just joined I tended to comment first without maybe giving it enough thought as to how it came across but we all start somewhere on these forums and it does take a little bit of time to gel with the main member's like your good selves.
if you can show me anywhere where I have slagged peoples mods off I will be surprised and with regards to long winded arguments - well I do like to fight my corner but as im sure you will agree sometimes it just isn't worth it.
I do think its a bit unfair to come and have a go at me slagging someone's parts off, to be fair that wasn't what happened
anyway take it easy guys and hope you understand
