went to a Pistonheads meet at Goodwood today

....Too late for 2013, Steve, but that looks like a great calendar shot contender. The Goodwood sign adds a lot of kudos  :happy2: (I could Photoshop out the car.....  Just joking!)

I thought it would stay dry for most of today so I washed the Jetta, then fitted the bra - opinions welcome.

Then it started to rain, so I took this shot!

^^^^ Great shot, mate! - The rain cloud had a silver lining! Is there more of the VW badge in your original?

Bra opinion? Personally I much prefer these kinds but ETTO..............

What did I and my car do today? - Yesterday I took my car to the local jet wash - The kind with the handheld jet hose from a machine you stick a £1 coin in.

BEFORE - Surprising how the OZ titanium colour still looks okay when filthy (IMO):

AFTER - Just a handheld jet rinse, no brushing or cleaning:

My car attracts a lot of attention - All very positive. I was approached and the car admired by no less than 3 different people while there.

^^^ That's rewarding - for a car which is relatively 'old'. The Mk5 is a well-proportioned, good looking car. I don't think the Mk6 is quite as attractive.

....I tend to agree, although some well modded Mk6's such as 'beddie's red one are very nice indeed. But personally I don't like the upgraded Mk6 interior with more shiny bits.  :happy2:

....I probably would have had VWR brakes if I hadn't been offered the AP's by them back in 2006. Size? Dunno without a search (will search if you would like to know, mate) but they just fit the Monza 17's:

The OZ Alleggerita 18's are very lightweight and designed to maximise the brake ventilation/heat dissipation - I'm not fussed if the discs look small inside the wheel.

AP racing fronts plus S3/R32 rears (Thanks, DaveB!) are a very powerful and well balanced combo for fast road use on my Stage 2 K03 GTI.

I dont think they look small behind the wheels? ... Plus i dont like brake kits that are 1/2 a mm away from the rim and you cant even fit wheel weights. They looks good :) Im Just excited about getting mine and was wondering what size what yours were as my wheels are similar style  :happy2:
