Quick trip to see Alex at AKS tuning to change my Cam follower as I could not do it myself being a 2005 Gti.

Good news old follower showed little wear and camshaft looked ok considering car has done 68k.

Possibly been replaced before but I have pretty good service history which would suggest not.

Happy Days :happy2:

I think megs do a headlight restoration kit that requires a drill. Could always have a look at that.
:

This tiny kit really does a fine job;

kit looks good, was going to place an order but you must spend a minimum $100 for international postage
its all in the small print  :confused:

why not buy this, i just have for £8.33  :signLOL:

Mine looked the same when i change it at 58,000 miles. Don't seem to wear too much on the early ones. Still always worth a check though.

New BBS VZ's on and looking ever so shiny in their Hyper Silver. Then it was off to a local bodyshop to sort out my FUBAR'd side skirt!   :fighting: :sad1:
