What oil drain did you get?
I got this one and it's been excellent.

No - it was the oil filter that I was draining, not the sump. I was using this: http://www.lasertools.co.uk/item.aspx?cat=0&item=7050

Took a trip down to B Trim to pick up the mk4 Recaro rear seat I had repaired. They cut the top of the head rest guide to remove the head rest and the rest of the guide has fallen into the seat. It was only the spring which had broken. When they called, they asked if anything had smashed through the back window and hit the head rest  as it was already broken. I said the seats had never been fitted, the head rest worked when I gave it to them, it moved up and down and it was only the clip which had broken which stopped the head rest from being removed. When I got there it had clearly been cut off. They gave me back what was left  :rolleye:

The repair is completely invisible and the seat was not damaged, which was the important thing. Why they had to lie is beyond me. They knocked the VAT off the price  :congrats:

Got a puncture in my winter tyre.  :sad1:

Summers back on now.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

New Goodyear Eagle F1's and a quick bath. Wash and dry only. This Zaino Z5 and Z8 means little effort for a good shine    :surprised:

The trick is to mix Z6 and Z8 together as your final application. Use Z5 by itself before you use Z6+8 together .

Go to Zaino uk. If your on Facebook look up Zaino Europe . They are based in Hook in Hampshire. John Hole is the chap who runs the place, and also owns Detailing World if you visit his website.

I won't use anything else now, brilliant stuff :happy2:
