Removed back bumper to remove towbar for a gti bumper and found this

Took to local body shop and got it chopped

Now have a gti back bumper

Anyone know how If some tail pipes can be welded to the tdi backbox to show outwards?

Usually, anything is possible with welds and fabs. There are two separate pipes exiting the back box, yes? You may have it easier if you try acquiring someone's oem gti muffler after they've done an exhaust upgrade. I have mine still and would give it to you but I'm in Oregon...likely someone is still holding on to their's and would let you walk with it for cheap ;p Maybe a post/topic in a fs/wtb section could be successful.

I spent all day attempting to upgrade my front arb to one from H&R. Got all the way to trying to remove the oem bar only to find out that the bushing brackets are one piece built onto the bar so I couldn't remove it ;|
So I had to put it all back together.

Yeah there are 2 pipes already. Cant find a gti backbox anywhere at the moment but I am going to an exhaust place tommorrow and see of they can weld on some tips to the existing backbox.
