Right mini update,

Early Saturday morning managed to get myself up nice and early and get my arse down stairs to work on the Jet.

First job was to get the 20mm spacers fitted and remove the 10mm ones, heres a before picture.

during

and after :)

The car sits alot nicer in the arches now and makes it look a little wider. Trouble is now im scrub like a fecker on the arch linings, so because the wings are galvanised i might bin the liners anyway. Then hopefully go down a little further on the front, got 9 threads left, might aswell use them :P

Next was to get the mirror caps fitted. Simple job, put the electric mirrors to face all the way down, then pop the mirror off then 3 T10 torx bolts and then pop the cover off with a masking tape wrapped flat headed screwy :)

During

and fitted, i love them.

I think the black breaks up all the silver really nice, makes everything a bit noticeable. Which is also a negative as now i want to tint the Indicator Lenses :)

Also Meguiars Gold Class Wax FTW :) Sperm Beading :)

Only Nightmare is ive now managed to put my back out so now im stuck laid flat watching the telly :(

Right so ever since I sprayed my mirror caps satin black, the side repeaters have stood out like a sore thumb and just generally annoyed me. So last night, after a failed attempt at splittnig my spare headlights, I focused on these.

They came out really nice in the end after the 3rd attempt. The first attempt the repeaters must have had wax on so didn’t adhere, 2nd attempt was fine till I lacquered them. 3rd bowl was just right :)

Rewarding little job but I very fiddly and nightmare job to do in the PITCH BLACK!

Before;

Split down from side repeaters;

Tinted;

Fitted :)

Cheers Boys :)

Well The Mrs clutch went or what really happened is she smelt something and thought it was her clutch because some guy at her work filled her full of sh*t :)

In the car park so happened to be another Jetta in Reflex silver.... Be rude not to take some snaps :)

Then Got home and gave it a quick bath. Had A full on clean the week before with AG HD wax! Awesome Stuff! Then thought it would be rude not to drop the front Coilies all the way to the bottom (about another 9 or 10 threads)

Pics Decieving. It's Alot lower in person :)

now then dude used savage tint spray.

there alright, still see them quite bright and awesome at night.

Just Make sure you thoroughly clean them with thinners first to remove wax and general crud :)

coat them to whatever darkness you like. Just Keep tinting till you have your desired thickness :)
