dsg clutch slip?

my DSG doesn't seem to change gears as smoothly as it once did when im higher in the rev range booting it.

i don't know what a clutch slipping feels like so has anyone had dsg clutch slip?

I think you would hear it slip, as you hear a manual clutch slip. It's kinda rev related.

Is it random or does it occur continually?

Is your DSG box of tricks due for a service?

had a service about 9k ago, just before stage 2+.


Maybe it just needs a reset

If the clutch was slipping then you would see and hear the revs rise but you wouldnt be going any faster..

how much would they rise if im changing at red line?

Depends on how bad it is slipping realy mate..

Anything from 100rpm to a few 1000rpm..

ill get it reset n see what happens, if worst comes to worst its a perfect time to have a lsd fitted hahah

I cant see it being clutch slip Ed.  :happy2: Only ever heard of this on monster powered cars, yours is a tortoise.  :happy2:
