Is Vettel the only world champion that needs his pit crew to overtake for him    and Massa of all people haha Vettel you fraud!

Seems by your previous reply - JB is a fraud?

Taken from the BBC website

After the first round of stops, Button had been slowly eating into Vettel's lead and took his revenge at the second round of pit stops when he made up a second in time in the pit lane and emerged ahead of the Red Bull on track.

Anyhow SV #1, glad a Brit was on podium, but very glad SV won the title.

Ps another couple of laps, and it would have made a very exciting finish.

I loved Button pulling him up on that atrocious move at the start. If only McLaren had been this strong from the start of the season.

Great drive by Alonso too.

Not quite when you consider that jenson has made more overtakes than anyone this season and it just so happened that Redbull had a poor pit stop but you already knew that really you just coudnt handle the fact i had a dig at vettel bringing up a comment from 3 months ago in a race with completely different circumstances!

Seems im the only one that can see through the Vettel smoke screen of im "untouchable" im the next "Ayrton senna" bla bla we both know Adrian Newey is the reason behind his success.

I just hope ferrari or Mclaren can prove me right next season and put the pre madonna under pressure so we can see his true colours.

Interested in why you think SV has no skill?  As good as the car is, it still takes a driver to exploit the potential.

I don't doubt that Vettel has bags of skill. But any one of the top 5 drivers can put in fast laps when out in front in clean air.

I think a good test for Vettel would be if Ferrari and McLaren were a lot closer to Redbull at the start of the season and could take a few of the pole positions in Qualifying.

Fact is the Car is what dominates. Hamilton is regarded as the fastest driver in formula 1. But his car just can't perform like the RedBull.

Oh hes a very good driver just no where near as good as the car and everyone makes out. Granted hes been consistant but hey when your out in front for pretty much all the races this season its pretty easy to be consistant. Having a car thats so much faster than everyone elses can easily cover up the cracks of the person driving it :happy2:

I would just love to see him go up against someone like Button in an equaly quick car you know like today for the whole season. I know who my money would be on to come out on top and it sure aint SV.

BIG CONGRATS TO SEB VETTEL!!

BIG CONGRATS TO JENSON BUTTON!!

A totally deserved 2011 Championship win for Seb and a very meaningful race win in Japan for Jenson.

If anyone carries anti feelings for Seb Vettel they should have watched the post race coverage on the Red Button - He did a genuine and sincere interview with Lee McKenzie. Great driver, great guy!

Jenson must be particularly praised for his attitude and behaviour towards the Japanese people and race fans, but with a girlfriend like Jessica who wouldn't!

As in most professional sports ££'s buy success.  It would seem that when Ron Dennis baulked at matching Red Bull's offer to Adrian Newey in 2005, he made a mistake....................

Perhaps just like regretting letting your star striker go when he is offered a more lucrative contract, and then you lose the league due to a lack of wins.

Anyway, it is a team whole effort sport.  The RB team was stronger than all others, as SV said working 7 days a week.

Hats off to SV and RB.

I personally think that JB is not all that.  Much prefer to see LH back where he should be (and not driving in a demolition Derby every time he is out there.................)

I'm a big Jenson Button fan but his biggest problem is that he needs a perfect car to get results. He can't make a bad car work. Whereas Alonso has got consistent results from a very poor car.

I think Alonso is currently the best driver.

Yes LH has been dissapointing this year and made JB look good although outclassed Alonso at Mclaren which Alonso didnt seem to like

Yep Ron Dennis should have never let Adrian Newey go, bet hes regreting that decision now.

Jenson was brilliant again  :congrats: firmly stamps his place as the lead driver at Mclaren. Watching Lewis crash into Massa yet again was cringeworthy but luckily for him nothing came of it.

F1 this year has been the best season for years, shame BBC has lost broadcasting rights, cant see it being anywhere near as good on Sky, also cant bring myself to spend £££'s on sky sports just to watch F1  :sad1:
