PS - I like to think I follow these forums quite closely but did I miss something.....

sh*te TSI engine all i can say thats why they have stopped production of them im guessing to many floors when driven like they are meant to be driven.

...has the production of the turbo'd 2.0 FSI engine really stopped??

Pretty sure it hasn't gone out of production.

I am not 100percent, however I have seen an article regarding this happening and have also heard rumours on the grapevine about this happening. I may be wrong but just what I've seen or been told.

Maybe the specific tsi engine in mine, but they may have done some updating to a newer version.

Well sort of a bit of an update, I hopefully get the car back this week as looking to go to donning ton with Neilm. Just one issue if anyone has any idea about this, bit of a unique one tbh now it has a complete ed30 loom we are struggling to get the windows to auto drop on the rocco as the ed30 loom doesn't allow for this. Has anyone any ideas to try obviously I don't think anyone at all has come across this. Please let me know any ideas to try. They work for 3 attempts then shut down and have to reset with vag com for them to operate again. Cheers for any help.

Have they changed the central electrics/convenience module or door controllers?

They haven't pal as the golf doesn't have this function so left rocco modules in and tried splicing and coding it up. No luck though :sad1: on a better note glad it all went well for you pics look awesome I'm gutted as I would have been up for that! When's your next trip? Fancy donnington with me and Neil on 2nd?

I would but can't be arsed with the wind, road and rattling noises from them! And the main thing after not to long the bloody scratching of them.

Well as a few of you know, i have had a lot of bad luck lately and have been so unhappy to say the least about the scenario. So after a lot of hunting and seeing what i wanted to go for ive come up with this. Watch this space for whats coming up some of you may be able to guess this already giving what the last car had done to it.
