ED30 Front ARB Size
« on: July 21, 2011, 05:19:27 pm »
Could someone confirm a quick issue for me, on the size of the ED30 FARB? Is it 24mm? Just about to order some new bushes.

Does anyone also know how the size of the ED30 one compares with a GT TDI 140?

Thanks,
Steve.

Hurdys reply mainly.

Also you will have a problem changing the front bushes as the mount is a pressed steel bracket and needs breaking to fit which in turn needs the subframe removed.

I'm in talks with polybush to try and get them to manufacture a ready made bush.

The other option is new arbs with their own bracket.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for that, useful. I have a spare one that's off the car. Will that make replacing the bushes on that one any easier?

And for swapping them I'm guessing that means the subframe has to be dropped to get the old one off?

Cheers.
