I dont know your plans but are you planning on selling the Cupra to buy a bigger family car for the missus and a track car as well. Or, selling the mods off it to fund a bigger car for the missus and using this new car to trailor your Cupra to track days.

You may find if you strip the car to sell you will start liking the car again and want to keep it. I find when modifying a car you can lose the character of it. I did when I sold my Octy and preferred driving it again as a std car. I haven't gone wild on my Focus for that reason alone.

For some I can imagine it's true but I am so over the moon with how it is setup & drives at the minute.

I dont know your plans but are you planning on selling the Cupra to buy a bigger family car for the missus and a track car as well. Or, selling the mods off it to fund a bigger car for the missus and using this new car to trailor your Cupra to track days.

The plan, Mr. C is to either just keep the Cupra (as is) and save to upgrade the Lupo to something that can tow.

Or

Strip the Cupra, keep the funds to one side.  Sell the Cupra to pay outstanding finance (long story but been screwed over a bit by using german bank for the loan and then the exchange rate going to tits).  Use the funds towards a track car.  Save to upgrade the Lupo.

I can afford to pay the finance off without selling any mods but would be nice to free up some cash for both savings & spends.

Won't be making any rash decisions.

What will Alex @ AKS do if you sold!  :scared:

I'm sure you'll make the correct decision for you, but sad to see all that work going. Hopefully if it does go, it goes to someone who will use it properly.

Have the massive job of putting it back to standard :signLOL:

Surprised your thinking of selling after all the time to get where you are now with it and how happy you are with how it drives

Sad to see it go mike if you do sell up, mine will be going in the next few weeks, so there will be hardly any long term origional Cupra owners left.

Ive had the Cupra for 5 years now, I know Mikes had his longer than me. You've only had your R for a bit so no your not an "original" haha.  Rich (CupraR) is the only one I know who still has his.
