Looks like the power touched 220hp maybe for a millisecond  :signLOL: :star: :star: :star: :star:

Im happy with that tbh, mostly at there is a gain in power but at much less boost.  Thats how to map a car.

And it matches the requested boost now with the N75 duty cycle reduced from permanent 100% to a nice steady 80%

Result

Safer power

lookin good pal, thought bhp and torque should cross at 5250rpm, is it a scaling issue?

Good point gaz, ill ask tomorrow but all the graphs cross at the same point in the revrange.  Could be because its in nm and not lbft

It is a scaling issue. The first map is roughly right for the nm to lbft conversion, but the second one isn't. Do the math at 5250 and then divide the nm by 1.35 and you should get the same figure as power made. :happy2:
Golf R gone.

For torque and bhp to cross at 5252 you have to use one vertical scale not 2.

If you have the graph in bhp and lbft with the same values on both sides it should cross quite obviously at 5250rpm.  :happy2:

For torque and bhp to cross at 5252 you have to use one vertical scale not 2.

This is what Kev said to me today.  He said depending upon the scale on the right hand side in comparison to the left he can move the cross over point around to  a certain degree.

Just back after picking the car up and doing about 300 miles on it between 1:30 and now visiting family.  Back home and very happy
