I have APR getting the new V2.0 stage 2 graphs coming my way.  Still considering revo though.

Wish these ECUs weren't encrypted because I could have switched maps via the Shark STS handset but that's not compatible.

I have seen REVO's work on 1.4 TSI and I would not have any other remap.
I have even seen the first ever 1.4 TSI remap in Romania (prior to the official release) and the driver (a friend) was thrilled. He got 224 PS (~220 bhp) on the dyno with only the remap.

Had Revo on my 1.4 for two years now and has always been great. Revo just seem the most experienced with the 1.4 which is why they get my vote

Figures mean nothing from  different dynos if your comparing.  I went on a rr day and morks revo stage 1 made 200hp, jasons revo stage 2 made 208hp, my shark stage 2 made 213hp.  so using yours and morks stage 1 figures as a rough guide would put mine at 233hp on the dyno in romania............

That's the only thing drawing me in their direction.  They have experienced a fair amount of issues including their own car which went pop.  So they have released newer revisions since which of course factor out these issues, allegedly

Not alot of the issues are with the software though are they Sy, i thought there was an injector fault which VW sorted on 2010 models??? I know there was a problem because i spoke to Blade about it and he said when he bought his polo the dealer told him it had been solved otherwise he wouldnt have bought a Polo.

Revo ftw :xmaspresent:

The injectors were changed ages ago in mid 2010.  I wouldn't have bought mine either if they hadn't been changed.

And has there been many problems after these changes?

All you ever see on SCN is threads about this.   There's alot of speculation over the causes. I think alot of it is to do with heat because they run really really hot, hence why i gave the IC and rad upgzrade with higher spec oil and heatwrap to manage the heat.

Revos cupra went bang which led to seat dropping them from their dealership network after neithet side accepted responsibility for the cause.  I believe its to do with piston rings and blow by whichrevo claim to have cured with their latest revision.

Revo blame the original vag code has not being written well enough to work within the the excessive heat generated in the engine causing mass overfueling thus misfires

Got a response from Rainworth about the Revo remap they offer.

Quote
Hi we are a Skoda dealer and have no issues with warranty claims on
remapped cars, the revo remapping keeps everything safe on the car, the
map does not show on the Skoda dealer computers as being done, and will
give no issues with the car as revo try and test them prior to releasing
them to the network. IF (AND THAT'S A MASSIVE IF) the ECU failed because
of the map then it would be sorted out via us / Revo. All other items on
the car would be covered by the Skoda warranty
.
