Just ordered a Mk6 GTD

welcome to my 18week wait :o for the delivery of a 5door black GTD.

probably should be posting on the Mk6 site shouldn't I?

Just been informed that it will come with leather as std, when i ordered cloth.

Thats a bit of a result.

And that bluetooth is now std accross the range. (though i had ordered that anyway)

It looks like all GTis will also have leather from build week 38.

....If that had been the case when I ordered my Mk5 GTI I'd probably have cancelled my order. I much prefer cloth.

Well its arrived :)

I ordered Black, I got White. Go figure that one out. All the options were present and correct, as the was the free upgrade to leather.

I had toyed with white at the time of ordering. That, with a combination of rather liking the white and the fact i couldn't be bothered to wait another 20 weeks resulted in me accepting the car as it was.

I've got to say, its rather good:

Running it in this morning (or not ;) )
