Problem Starting Car
« on: July 30, 2011, 09:26:21 am »
I recently had the message "airbag fault" come up on my car and did some research and found it was to do with the battery being dead so I jump started it.

However every time I try to start the car now it sounds really laboured and takes a while to start as if the battery is not fully charged, :sad1:, thankfully it starts and is fine when it is going. However am a bit worried that I am damaging the car somehow.

Does anyone have any ideas of what I can do to sort this?

Cheers

New battery would be the first port of call.  :happy2:

Somewhere in the region of £70 I'd guess for a decent quality one.  I would try the dealers, IIRC their prices for batterys are surprisingly reasonable compared to halfords etc.
