Monzas
« on: August 16, 2011, 11:43:12 pm »
Sorry if this has been covered, couldn't find it. I have 18 inch monzas sprayed silver, really like the look of the mk 6 monza 2 shadows, don't wanna deal with the White worm. Has anyone had any luck coming close to this look with powdercoating, or does it not look so good? Cheers

Have a search on here mate. A few have had them done at various places. Have a look at this place:

The wheel specialist london... but I would never recommend them.... 3 attemps to get them right poor masking a sloppy spray work took them back and they sprayed them the wrong colour.... by this time I couldnt afford the car to be garaged for another week for another attempt or the hassel of dropping off early and leaving work early to pick up....

I'm sure others could do a better job...

Are these wheels stamped anything the rear of them to identify them as genuine monza's? like part numbers etc?

really hard to get the look, as the have a razor sharp finish - a mild chrome/light silver with laquer would come close.
